August the 4th 2004. We're leaving our marina in Groningen for a 3-week trip to Sweden.

We try to get used to the movements of our ship. The wind is from a very wrong direction...

Still we arrived at Helgoland with full flaps, 5th of August

Inge, who joined us, takes the ferry back home.

This hitchhiker stayed until Denmark.

This is the very dangerous Skagerak without a touch of wind....

Before crossing to Denmark we anchored at the coast of Sweden.

Heading for the Limfjord through Denmark we tried unsuccesfully to catch some fish for dinner.

Near Aalborg (Denmark).
We didn't understand the rules: 3 red lights and still we were expected to pass this brigde so it took a second time an hour later...

The passage from Tuborin till Borkum was very rough, the 21th of August.

The waves were 3,5 meter
high.

Safely arrived on Borkum on Sunday the 22th after 30 hours sailing, a very fast passage!
