Wednesday August the 1st we arrived in Alexandrie, Egypt. |

We expected a yachtharbour but nothing of the kind. There were some yacht between fishingboats and there appeared to be an old English yachtclub. There were a lot of military people and it was striktly forbidden to make photo's. |
|

|
We met Egyptian people who invited us on their yacht. We learned from them how to deal with the authorities. |
|
|
|

|
In fact we'd spent a lot of time in their company the time we were in the harbour. |
|
|
|

We explored the town and visited the palace Montasa. |

|

Jurjen and Maysha left and we welcome Miriam and Marja. Together we made a tour to the Red Sea. |

We made an expedition through the desert, guided by Bedouins. |
