June the 9th, we arrived on the beautifull island Zakynthos (Zante, called by local inhibitants). In 1953 this island was partly destroyed by a hughe earthquake. |

Our friend Barbara came to join us for a week. |

Trying to get used to the much higher temperatures, we spend a lot of time in the water! |

To embark easier a carpenter made a gangway for us. We didn't realise by then that mice also could use this to pay us a visit. One night we spent some time looking for what we thought was a hughe spider and found a mouse hiding in our bed. |

We went to Marathonissi, the place where we could spot turtles. It was difficult to get one on a photo but this was their habitat. |

This shipwreck is at a beach at the westcoast. It lies under a cliff and you only can get there by boat. On many postcards in the whole meditarenea it is shown. |

Monday, June the 18th, we continuded our journey heading for Crete. A distance of two days. Our recently repared stearing gear collapsed again so we had to stear manually. |
